    Count me in. Ordered 3-16-15. In my mailbox 4-9-16. Now I just have to grab another u-joint and adapt the carrier bearing for a DCSB.

    Here is what i mean.

    You could flip the CB 180 around the axis of rotation, put some spacers in (blue) and call it good. Or in the case of the DCSB / AC that have the cb mounts that are offset from the cross member, you could mount it above where the stock CB mounts to.

    DCSB CB mount notice its offset from the centerline of the crossmember

    And the DCLB mount is directly under the crossmember

    Either way, very easy "fixes" to getting the CB back where it should be. Though the added benefit of the ford cb for those running cb drop kits is that, YOU WOULD NOT NEED EM!!!

    It is literally just a couple bolts and screws. if you wanted your driveshaft at the same height as the stock, 2 x longer bolts, and some spacers and your good, 5 bucks in parts from the hardware store.

    Subbed for now but it would be interesting to find the maker of these and approach them about a taco version.

    On another note...has anyone cobsidered if Toyota designs these with rubber to give some sort of deflection? Like the cb will flex and give way before any other major parts of the driveshaft? Just a thought...

    It's not a Taco version. It is to group buy for the Ranger CB. It may require some modification to have the correct angle, but it is a solid alternative to stock and will stand the test of time where stock has proven it leaves a lot to be desired.

    Yes it is. And the only modification is essentially creating a plate keeper, which anyone should be able to do if they own a drill and some drill bits as well as some common sense.

    I guess my point was more directed at the lb version...but basically you would just do a flip/cb drop kit. Plus if you found out the manufacturer, might get some better pricing and a housing with a built in plate. Nonetheless good find OP

    On the LB as previously stated it looks like doing a flip of the orignal mounting method of the CB and bushing then doing a very mild drop on it will get you back to the original stock mounting height. They way I currently have it mounted up has not given me problems but I nonetheless will likely end up doing a flip and a slight drop on it myself. Well worth the modification to get some serious peace of mind.

    I believe it is manufactured in house as I have not seen anyone else offer these sort of CB assemblies minus them.
