What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Nice, those next-gen maglights are a real improvement over the last.. Picked one up myself a few months back.

 

What percentage tints are people going for?

 

Today I was able to get a couple things completed.

 

Has anyone seen a LED light that would replace the black plastic under the headlight? It would be a nice place for a Daytime running light.

 

I've been using Adam's for about 10 years now. I haven't come across anything I haven't like.

 

you don't have DRL's on yours? MY TRD sport has LED's built into the headlight.

 

I do but I have to turn the switch for them to come on. I would like to wire LEDs to come on with the key switch and not a switch on the column.

 

What rack is that ??? Looks pretty sweet. Got any more pictures of it ?

 

Looks like a Prinsu rack. Those are sweet! Check out the group buy forum as there is currently a group buy going on but they reached their max capacity.

 

Got rid of some chrome.

 

Fridge lives again.. Wired up a fuse box behind the second row today.

 

Added TRD pro wheels with 265/70/17 all terrain duratracs on stock suspension.

How did you "modify to fit the h9 s?"

 

Hey guys, new to TW. Bought my 1st tacoma and after having it for a couple of months, I think I wanna start putting on some simple/cheap mods. I've seen a 2nd gen that had a camo wrapped hood and tailgate with xd rockstars. Kind of like the camo but i wanna make it my own. What do you guys think of vinyl wrapping or plastic dipping came or matte black by tailgate and hood scoop. Thanks guys. (i have an MGM)

 

I noticed using that Carista app that there is an option "DRL ON or OFF" (factory default is off)

I left it off b/c I have the crappy SR5 ambers (soon to be replaced)

I'm just wondering tho if you click yes if it does just what your asking, full-time DRL

I went with 20% all around, SR so I had no factory tint.

Finally finished and installed my 'stealthbox' after buying (and returning) a second gen one from JL as it would have required modification of the back panel and rear cab vent (major hassle). This one drops in and really rounds out the sound with new speakers and a 5 channel amp.

Couldn't wait for JL to get one produced that worked for 3rd gens and couldn't wait for the dealer to order a sport with JBL. Impatience is the mother of invention

 

Leaving the light switch on auto keeps the DRLS on. I haven't seen anything made for the piece you're referring to. Be the first!
