Yes, haven't played in a couple of years.
Also had free passes to the US OPEN in San Diego. Had a big vacation planned with it. Then ended up in the hospital for blood clots in my leg. Yay! Had to watch it from my hospital bed. That sucked!! And of course not being able to go it would have to be one of the best OPENS. I went in 2005 when it was at Pinehurst,NC. So at least I have been able to go to one in my lifetime. I'm hoping to go to the one in 2010, I believe Pebble Beach.

I bet my brother his sand wedge a few years ago that I could beat him by ten strokes wearing flip-flops. I gave him his sand wedge back one year for Christmas, but I've played in flips ever since.

I'm suprised the golf course doesn't say something to you about it. I had a buddy that was going to play in flip flops. They made a big stink about, he could not unless he changed.

golf is my #1 favorite thing to do in life!:)

I can even usually break 100.

Nothing better then playing 18 holes with 3 friends a cooler and 2 golf carts.

IMO the best online golf game is called ALBATROSS18 can be found here.

Golf is the best... I was going out for the Canadian long drive team... missed the cut by 3 yards in one competition. I ended up having a back injury that took me out for the last couple seasons, so I'm basically working on getting my swing back. I try to get out once a week if I can.

What do you guys normally shoot? I'm usually in the low 80's...

Ummmmmm is there such a term as the low 100's? If I keep it in double digits, thats a GREAT day for me. Of course that is without counting all my 'ahem' practice swings. ;)

You guys can name other disc golfers??
Are these guys professionals? Like on a circuit? They get paid? Isn't disc golf right up there with Bozo's Grand Prize Game as far as effort involved? Where are the tryouts for this league, I'm in! I throw a mean game of washers too....
