To much turbulence in the back of my boat for that. Don't care
To fast to cast. To fast to stop for depth. Lol
    Good day fishing for sure

I'm about 4 weeks early but it's been years since I went fishing first weekend in April. Had a few issues but I may be ok. Trolling motor wouldn't run. Brushes in motor acting up. Had the motor on high for 5 min before it would turn. Seems to be ok for now. Slight seep from lower unit. Had same last year. No water in it. Topped it off. Poor girl doesn't like the cold anymore. New plugs in like 5 years.wait and see what happens now. Going to check my rods and reels next. Going to make a couple of mepps type lures for the ultralight. I would like a slightly bigger trolling motor for windy conditions. As long as the boat runs good, I'll leave it as is. Have to modify the pedestal I got. Bushing swelled in the top so I can't put the seat in it. Gave it to my boys FIL at his machine shop to ream it out a little. May not even use it but the new seat is in the boat and out of the way till needed...

Lots of money spent just to go out and try and bend it up and scratch it...

Kinda like seeing my friends get wasted and hug the porcelain bowl all night and saying what a great time they had...

    Just kidding.
    Stuff looks real nice.
Will really change the appearance. Hope it goes smooth for you.

Sunday Funday @ work...(he said with a tone of sarcasm in his voice....) Oh well.

Started the day like any other Sunday....Alarm went off, I get up, flip the TV on to watch an outdoor show that comes on before the news. I leave the house by 5AM when the news comes on. First thing I see is the smiling news reporter......OMG!........I plum screwed up and forgot the time change! Time sprung forward 1 hour but my alarm clock DIDN'T. I'M LATE FOR WORK!.....Finish getting dressed in record time, shout out an "I love you I'm late for work" to the wife and hit the door. If all goes well, I will be less than 5 minutes late. No biggy. No one else gets to work until 7AM anyway.

THEN.....We have a grand total of 7 houses on our road. Ours it the last (on a dead end road) Our neighbor 2 doors up is in Florida. His teen age son had a party last night and with that, a bunch of drunk teen agers are still in the yard/driveway/street. 2 have the road completely blocked and refuse to move when I asked. OK. They are minors, so I can't open the #10 can of whoop ass on 'em, so I back up, hit 101 on my speed dial, and in 5 minutes have the police on the scene. Last word I got (from my wife just a few minutes ago) there are 2 wreckers in the street, removing parked cars, and a bus that belongs to the county police loading up teen agers. All I wanted was for them to move their cars. They had to make it difficult.

Then I get to work, 15 minutes late by then. Apparently someone stayed in our building all night, expecting me to be on schedule and unlocking between 5:15 and 5:30 like I always do. But this time I didn't. Someone exited the building before I got there to disarm the alarm. So.....I get to talk with ANOTHER police officer (and the alarm company) I will be reviewing security camera footage in a few to see who exited the building prior to my arrival.

TOO MUCH DRAMA for a Sunday morning. I need bacon.

Hope YOUR day gets started better than mine has!
