My Son and I did a ton to the truck this weekend... New Toyos and Leer Cap were the big ticket items but the most fun was building the raised platform for camping storage in the bed. We built it centered around my "dead sled" that we haul deer out with. I will be able to remove the top panel for critters with large headgear. I had added a front end leveling kit a while back but added an extra leaf this weekend because I was afraid the weight would make her sag. I like the way it turned out. While the wheels were off I repainted the calipers and cleaned all the mud from the last couple trips out and detailed.

You went through the effort to install switches in your center console, but could only come up with clipping the garage door opener to the side??????

Beat me to it. Like I said, very simple process. One tip, don't connect one sides strut until you get the other sides hardware mounted as they limit the hoods upward travel by two to three inches which might make it difficult to make a straight hole with a large bodied drill.

I pulled the clip off mine and double sided taped it under the console pocket. Out of the way, hidden, and easy to find pulling into the driveway.

I have mine sitting flat in that pocket below the 4wd switch, where some vehicles have a parking brake. Used to have it on the clip hanging on the curved plastic which i prefered, but i used the clip to remove my switch blanks and now it just falls out of the opener

Here's a before and after. I'll be rocking the pizza cutters until they wear out because they were just put on last summer. My front shocks are nearly toast so they'll be replaced with 5100's and coilovers probably this fall.
