Here is what I got typed up off the top of my head as to what I will send them on Monday morning:

    To whom it may concern,

My recent order, modification, and install of your 1.181" Ford Ranger Polyurethane Carrier Bearing assembly on my 2nd generation Tacoma (2005-2015) has been an absolute hit on my favorite forum I frequent. So much so, to the extent that I have received an overwhelming demand to "petition" for lack of a better word for a Group Buy due to the stock carrier bearing leaving a lot to be desired in terms of quality, longevity, and overall strength on an otherwise solidly built driveshaft assembly. I have tested your item over the past week and have been absolutely thrilled with the results it gave me. People have begun to notice online and are now wanting to attempt to recreate the same results with the stock driveshaft which I have managed to do. I have managed to gather the interest of ## people who are saying "Yes I am very interested, and yes I will buy this product from you."

Attached is a link to said forum thread so you may review and monitor it on your own as it grows and updates: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/feeler-iedls-polyurethane-carrier-bearing-group-buy.421410/

With your permission, I would like to be able to offer them an opportunity to buy and run your polyurethane carrier bearing at a discounted price. I am not being paid to do this whatsoever, and am doing this more for the forum as a favor, as they have given me a lot of technical information over the years which I would had never previously known, and am now I am trying to put this together as my way of returning back to the community and saying thank you. If you are interested in taking me up on this. Please let me know. Thank you.

    -Roberto

    Sound convincing enough?

Well I'm too tired to be forming words but what I would do if I were you is hit ecgs in regards to their needle bearing fix and see what kind if response they have had. I would sell to iedls as a much needed upgrade to these trucks and you are going to bring them all new customers via group buy of course. They don't market this for our trucks and so the only way people like us learn of these fixes is by putting together these group buys. Hopefully they can see that you are bringing them new customers, and therefore they should return the favor with a discount.

I just slightly edited the post to mention how the mod is needed as essentially an upgrade. I really don't see why they wouldn't be game, but regardless. With this many people so far alone, it may be hard for them to say no. Lol. I'm basically doing free advertising for them!

I would probably include some numerical info on the forum. There's potentially xxx,xxx people who would be interested in your product. Also might add you will not be making any money off of this as being the so called "middleman" you are helping out the forum and its community in the same way you are trying to spread the word of this bearing and its company.

It should be less than that, but initially, yes, 125.

there are none from my end because I didn't disassemble the shaft to press the bearing in. I only dropped it and reinstalled it.
