I just put a rough country 3 " block lift on my truck and had it aligned, between 20 and 35 mph I can feel the vibration of the tire tread on the road through the steering wheel. It's always when slowing down which leads me to believe it's te fronts. Has anyone else encountered this? Side note...I do not have aggressive tires at all, this is why it bothers me, and it didn't do it before lifting..

Only when slowing? Probably warped rotors

It's not when braking just decelerating and the vibration speed is consistent with the tire tread on the road..

    Normal.

Every truck has a 50/50 chance of this issue when lifted. Some have it stock.

I know I know. I was looking for a specific reason the lift causes this issue

Changing driveshaft angle/suspension dimensions will result in your problem

If it's driveline vibration, and pinion angle that can be fixed. It's painful, but fixable. There are threads on here about it, and you can look it up on You Tube. Not rocket science. Diagnosis is everything, just work away on it systematically and try to isolate all the factors that have been affected by the lift. There's no reason that anything should shake on a truck with a mild lift.

If it's 4wd, try putting it in 4wd, and if it goes away, the problem is likely the needle bearing on the driver's side front differential.

have read literally hundreds of posts re lifting Tacoma's on TW - they all have common threads - which lift is best, which tire won't rub and how do I get rid of the vibration - slap me silly.

I'm guessing #1 alignment and #2 pinion alignment. At 3" you're right at the margins where specs get critical from what I've read on here. A lot of guys go to UCA's at that height. If you stay around 2-2.5 " it seems to be the magic number for fewer problems.

Ya it feels like I'm running an aggressive mud tire when it does it

Here's one Theory I came up with maybe the rubber bushings that you use in the back to install the shocks are stiffer than the stock ones allowing you to feel more of the tire vibration. But I don't know it's just a theory

its the block in the rear. Just exacerbating the fact that these trucks already have horrible axle wrap.
