Not a Logano fan, but I think it's quite the opposite. He's made poor decisions, yes, as a rookie; but he also has owned up to everything he has done, and his "media" personality is him to a "T". I have more respect for him than a lot of other drivers, despite his daddy issues.

but when kenseth repayed him last year he whined like a bitch instead of saying, yep I deserved that for dumping him at 200 mph like a douche.

But Kenseth whines more than any rookie I've ever seen, I'm waiting for him to announce his retirement....

if he wins a few this year, don't expect it. as long as he can win, there no point, now Tony on the other hand is past due... although I do like Ty Dillon in that 14 car.... (better than Bowyer in it...)

Yea I don't know how competitive bowyer will be in this new team. He hasn't been competitive for a few years. I think he's a decent driver, gonna be interesting for sure.

Ty Dillon did a good job today, solid finish for him. Also proud of Austin Dillon...

I recall Logano dumping someone at Martinsville in '15 or '14 in a truck race of all things. It was late in the race and the action was intense. Logano got tapped, he flipped out on the radio about, even though he'd done the same thing to the other driver a few laps prior. IIRC, Logano dumped the kid a few laps later. It was d u m b and I didn't appreciate his lack of character about the whole thing. Then again, I've been in highly competitive situations and done the wrong thing in the heat of the moment. We've all been there. The important thing is to look for the lesson, let it sink in, make it right, and move on. That's something Matt Kenseth couldn't do last season. Secondly, this year at Daytona, when Chase Elliott held off Joey, he practically beat his steering wheel & dash in because Chase blocked him to win. Agro white dudes yo. They never learn.

I don't recall seeing Joey whine after M-ville. Matter of fact, that was the turning point where I thought Joey really showed some maturity.

Time is not on Matt's side. His on-track performance is in a massive slide. He's had two top-10 finishes (Homestead and Phoenix today) since Charlotte back in early October of last year. He could've had some good runs this season, but he's been his own worst enemy at every track. He's making lots of mistakes. He was so nutted up all last fall about Joey that he practically took himself out of the CHASE. Joey played a strong mind-game on Matt last Fall; something he probably learned during his tenure at JGR. Matt couldn't handle it because he truly was rattled, and he hit back below the belt, because he couldn't beat Joey outright. After M-ville I asked myself "where will Joey be in 5-10 years? At least one Championship and several wins. Where will Matt be in 5-10 years? retired, forgotten."

Thought I'd just copy and paste this right here.

Matt Kenseth’s victory in the 2012 Daytona 500 placed the driver into an elite group of only 11 drivers in the history of NASCAR who have won the famed race more than once. With his first Daytona 500 win in 2009, the Cambridge, Wisconsin, native became one of only five drivers in the sport’s history to win a Cup Championship, the Raybestos Rookie of the Year Award, and the Daytona 500, placing him in the elite company of Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon, David Pearson, and Richard Petty.

You running for an office.......This seems like a lot of "hot air but no substance".....

Joey is and always be "the spoiled rich kid from CT " ...... if not for Penskes direction and strong cars he could/would be a 3rd tier driver..

Going after Matt is quite amusing but then again folks have opinions............just like politicians :hattip:

Just because he doesn't like Matt doesn't make him wrong, I don't agree with the he will be forgotten part but you said it; it's his opinion. Don't quite understand the politician reference just because he has an opinion. But, ok.

I also have an opinion, Joey would not be a "3rd tier driver" if he didn't drive for Penske, he's actually a good driver. Now, excuse me, I need to go do politician stuff.
