Antique vehicles can also use license plates from the year of the vehicle. My scout becomes an antique next year and I already have a 1972 SC license plate to use

 

NY allows this also as long as they are readable, have them on the T's. Thank you for the help. The old cars I don't worry about so much but man that yearly tax on the newer ones hurts !!! Thanks again.

Idk the tax deal but it's 8$ a year on my scout and like 50 on the Tacoma? It's not that bad at all. Where in NY are you? I have family in the mountains

 

30 miles north of Utica, town of Russia.

 

My grandparent live in kerhonkson about 2hrs south of Utica

 

No 50. a year is not bad at all but in the posts above these folks are paying over 400. a year due to propery tax on their trucks.

 

I also have an 06 with over a quarter million miles

 

Near Binghamton ? Two hrs south of Utica must be near PA line. Binghamton is 90 miles south of Utica by rt 12 or 8 it takes about 2 hours.

Guess I need to change tie rod ends sometime soon. Is this going to be a pita? I already have new ones, just need to change em out.

Outers. It's pulling right really bad and keeps getting worse.

 

gotcha yea outer are easy to do just break loss the jam nut some and pull the outer off then put new one on to it hits the jam nut and thighten down

 

I've got new jam nuts as well. Then go for an allignment?

 

ok i just reuse the old ones unless i see something wrong with them but if you do use the new ones just mark the old jam nut on the inner tie rod so you can put the new nut in the same place or as close as you can
