I'll stay with my cushy desk job until it dries up.

I didn't mind working #2 on the MD11 as long as it was at night. If I could see the ground I always got a little nervous... but your always safe once you erect the safety railing LOL

Simulated approach into Apsen went a little haywire. The instructor threw me into a mountain at the end.

    I did.

The wife gets it as a trophy. Can't be sold. Just looked at in a remberance of me.

    I made it out alive.

Instructor moved me to the wrong spot and I was about to run into a mountain so we paused it. I took a photo. Then unfroze and crashed into the maintain.

Well played. I'll ask her if she's cool with that.

    Carlsbad, CA.

Wichita does have a lot of Cessna training though.

We always had fun in the 172 sim when I was doing my IMC training. My instructor would boost my speed to crazy numbers to get me to the next fix

I don't mind working off the patio without rails except I'd get my ass chewed.

We use a big ass fork lift to position the motor then switch to a tail stand so not as difficult as chaining it all the way up. It's just the fit, bell mouth, up & down the steps that's a PITA to me.
