I've tried searching and the only other post I can find is a huge one regarding price paid for people in the US, so I apologize if I'm re-posting something.

I'm wondering what people are getting their 2016 trucks for in Canada now? I would really appreciate an idea of what to expect. To keep things in the same format maybe list if there is a trade in involved, are taxes included etc etc. Again sorry if this has been posted but I couldn't find it.

Thanks Fuse, spent some time going through it and giving me a good idea. Seems like $3k off MSRP is about the best.

That's essentially the invoice price on a Tacoma right there.

Yea that's what I've found as well. Are you saying a dealer won't sell for this?

You're asking if a dealer will sell you a car at zero profit? Probably not on a Tacoma - we haven't been able to keep them in stock since they 1st arrived in October.

Thanks for the replies, I ended up getting my hands on one of the very few remaining 2015 models at a really good price. Too many concerns with the 2016's for now, so the plan is to hold on to this for a few years and then maybe swap for a 3rg gen.

    I think that's a good plan

Transmission is a bit slow downshifting but no other complaints. Much improved compared to my 2012

A lot of new cars do this nowadays - it's how they've tuned the transmission to hold taller gears to maximize fuel economy.
