This is the place that I had my wheels done at. I paid a lot less but you really need to negotiate with them and @C_Ratt is correct in that for high usage parts like bumpers or especially sliders PC is not ideal. These are my everyday wheels that's why I had them powder coated, I have separate wheels/tires for wheeling

How far would you say that is from Winnipesaukee? I vacation up there every summer, that would be a great day trip to bring the kids on if it's not too far.

No kidding. I spent over a year chasing a charging issue with my Kubota because the previous owner had screwed around with it. I couldn't figure out why it the battery would hold a charge all winter and then go flat as soon as summer rolled around. Turns out the voltage regulator had gone bad and rather than replace it the moron bypassed the VR and ran the charging circuit through the headlight switch. When the headlights were on, the generator charged the battery. When they were off, the current just went nowhere. During the winter I only really used the tractor at night, to push back snowbanks or clear the driveway (before I got my plow truck) after I got home from work. Headlights on, charging the battery. During the summer I only use it on weekends. Headlights off, battery not charging.

Speaking of the Kubota, I got to use my welder and some ingenuity on it today. Fab'd up a new tachometer cable. The old one had seized and snapped, so both the tach and the hour meter weren't working. A replacement cable was $200 ( ) from Kubota, and over $100 on ebay. So instead I bought a speedometer cable for an 80's Chevy 1/2 ton ($15 at the local parts store), cut it to the right length and tack welded the ends from my Kubota onto the Chevy cable.

Works perfectly and looks factory. :D

Probably costs less from the factory, mark up drives me nuts.

I was working on a boat one winter and there was a cover for a really fancy folding prop and was called something along the lines of a "space age polymer prop protector." The owner had ordered one, It was like $100. Open the box it's a pool noodle sliced like a hotdog bun in 3 pieces to the correct length.

Nice! I'm getting the Ferd's tranny flushed this weekend, fortunately no recalls though.
