Too poor to list anything interesting.
I had a rough night trying to get to sleep. Then kept waking up during the night. Even after being outside working on the truck all day and drinking. Nothing.
    :annoyed:

Oh yeah, Walt's Last Chance bar is still on the corner of 12 and ?. I would go by there 8:30 or 9:00 in the morning and alot of trucks and cars would be in the parking lot already, lol.

Ok folks I am sorry to beat this sales tax issue into the ground but after what I learned from you last night it is not as bad as I thought. We pay sales tax when we buy it, my county is 8.75% tax so on a 45,000.00 truck tax is just under 4000.00 dollars. The way you guys do it you pay alot less over time. We also have yearly reg fee and on a Tacoma would be around 70.00 a year or so. Bad part is if I buy here before I move I will be paying the full shot here and then again if I move so paying tax on it twice. Thanks everyone for the info last night.

Your right !! I stopped in there one afternoon on my way home and it was fun but didn't stay long due to the fact I still had a long ride home. I don't get down that way much anymore but if I do I will grab a t-shirt and send it to ya.

We my have to sue Chevy, I rolled my brothers 76 or 78 Chevette in New Hartford one night ! My brother thanked me because he hated that car. lol. I confused Chevette for Corvette and they didn't quite corner the same. Your right, amazing me made it this far. Although I did flip a Vette one night up near Old Forge but that's another story. lol

Tell us how you really feel, lol! Yes, annual vehicle registration is much more here. So is my water bill! Insurance for me is about the same, which is shocking.

But- when you buy a car in SC, you only pay a few hundred in sales tax, lol! Most states yoy pay sales tax rate, which is why leasing is so popular in those states- only pay tax on the payment.

Humidity here is not nearly as bad as the beach areas, along the coast.

All that said, incomes seem to be higher here (less cheap labor from mexico), and my home cost only about 25% of what it would in SoCal.

    I like it here!

My 111k home would be a lot more in Cali so I'm glad I'm here haha cause I would be renting if I lived there more than likely
