As people are upgrading their new Tacomas, suspension components are becoming available. I like the idea of leveling my truck with OEM Toyota components.

So would the 2016 suspension work on a 2nd Gen? Specifically, I'm thinking of front coil overs, UCA's, leafs and U-Bolts. Would I need anything else as well?

Better to ask what I have not done.
I dont know what you would be getting from it. I think it would be best to just buy after market. Your not getting any thing from the uppers and they are all cheap OEM struts so if you really want to upgrade your not going to do it this way. What all do you want to upgrade. You can text me if you want.

I don't understand how you're hoping to gain anything by swapping OEM parts with OEM parts? I don't think anything on your 2013 would be worn out enough that replacement with an OEM part would net any real improvements.

The 2016 front suspension is set an inch higher in the front than the 2nd Gen. Maybe he is looking at leveling it that way is how I take it.

Yeah, I'm thinking to level it out. Also, my leaf springs are already looking pretty sad.

Ah, okay, that makes sense. I thought they were an inch higher in the front due to the fender shape as opposed to the suspension.

    I stand corrected.
