Well it isn't the easiest thing to do, but I managed to get the Clazzio covers in while dodging rain squalls. The folks at Clazzio are great. They told me they were out of the 2016 Tacoma DC in black but could have a set to me in 5 weeks. Well they came in three. Great quality and fit. A bit of a learning curve on the install, took me about 6 hours total, but could probably do it in half the time now. I really like these covers and glad i went this way.IMG_2238.jpg

Looks good, can't wait for mine to get here.

Regarding the install, what was the hardest part?

The instructions that come with the covers are not good at all. Go to the Clazzio site and there are some videos. One is actually an install in a double cab truck, not a Taco. The following are my learnings:

They fit tight, especially the seat backs, which makes getting things into position tough at times. Take your time. It's like the old carpenters rule, "measure twice cut once". Follow the advice to turn the back rest covers half way inside out. Line things up (new seams to existing seat seams). work the back rest covers over the head rest plastic bezels before the cover is completely down, not sure why but this made using the tool and getting the (what seem like way too small a hole) the cover over the bezel easier. To get the backs to "suck" into the existing concave form of the seat back the seams have to be lined up as stated earlier. You can move the material of the Clazzio cover into final position a bit after it is in place by massaging and working the cover from side to side, back and forth and up and down. Make certain the head rest double stitch seam is forward. Don't pull too hard on the purse string or the straps as i have read they will break. If you have a DC and are over 6' you will find installing the rears a bit challenging due to space limitations. I live in the PNW and am sure i will need to do a little tightening up when the weather warms.

I hope this helps with your install. Post some pics when you are done.
