Yeah I just got an email back and they said they were going to keep the cam bolts for me

 

That's awesome, fire up the sawzall and go to town on the front end!

 

Rob just curious is there anyway I can put a standing order in for one of them shifter boots in case a 5spd gray with electronic shift case comes in?

Damn thats a sweet deal. Like mike said the cam bolt hardware is over $100 itself. And if you ever do sell the lr ucas let me know.

 

3 out of 4 of my cam bolts came right out. The damn 4th one though not only was the bolt fused to the bushing but the metal discs that are on either end of the bushing were siezed to the damn frame.

 

Well I have the impact and a sawzall so I should be good to get them off, one way or another

Just keep reminding me and I'll look. I just checked now and we don't have any around right now but you never know

Finally back to work today after being out sick for a week. Had something really nasty growing in the chest - got hard to breathe there for a bit. Wife could hear me gurgle as I was Sleeping in my recliner. Probably should have gone to the hospital... Felt so weak last Thurs-Sat, I didn't even feel like picking up the iPad to log on.

On the plus side, the power window motor for my rear window mod came in. Got a 09-15 rear window motor/regulator assy for a Ram which has long cables and should be just right for my needs. I'll make an aluminum push/pull bar to drop in around the window that the cable moves.​

 

Clouds are still building here. Supposed to be a messy commute in the AM. Snow and sleet overnight, then sleet and freezing rain early, and then finally just rain for the rest of the day. Gross.

The FJ's and 4runners are the same but the Taco's are different. I noticed that when I was looking up the UCA's for your FJ a while back
