Might wanna turn down the sensitive feelings, find a sense of humor & use search function because this bullshit goes on in most threads here nowadays where the same thread topic pops up every other day. No newbie grace period anymore it seems. And the sum total of all the posts equalling nothing to get any more hp out of the 4 cyl is because there are none. Seroiusly, you can spends thousands on all the bolt-on whatever for these trucks and get 10hp out of it. Might get more if you can score a URD SC kit for the 4 cyl but not sure that is even an option anymore and it was about $3500 if not more. I'll suck on the fat titties, others will have to handle the dicks. Welcome aboard, good luck.

This reminds me of something I read in a magazine 50+ years ago. Someone asked how he could make his VW go over 100 mph. The reply was something to the effect of "drive it over a cliff."

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Go to that aisle at Autozone. With all the chrome stickers and stuff. I'm sure that'll add like 75hp right there.

    Two words brah: ELECTRIC SUPERCHARGER

    http://www.superchargertuning.com/Toyota/Tacoma/

I ran that setup for a while put I put it on the exhaust instead of the intake for mad tyte rocket propelled jet engine style power yo!

I ran 10 of them in series still was way cheaper than a twin screw but I did have to tow a 15KW generator trailer and that slowed my roll a little especially at the track.

Lol. I have the V6 buddy, and the word fast never comes to mind when I'm driving it. Get a sports car, or a motorcycle. Enjoy your truck for what it is, reliable.

2TR's are very stout motors. As long as boost stays around 4-6psi, should be just fine. Add in an IC, some fuel mods, and tuner, you're looking at 250hp. IIRC, swapping in stronger headstuds on this engine will allow 350 hp with little effort :notsure:
