Ok so here's my question... I have a 2015 double cab 2wd 4cyl prerunner and I am looking to increase capability.... this is my work, fishing, surfing blah blah beater truck. I want a locker in the rear of this truck. So...... do I replace the whole axle? Just the third member or go with a ARB and ring gear. Also would like to know what axle size and gear ratio come with this truck, cant find anything out. (P.s. I searched my ass before posting this)14577974672012012327251.jpg 20160312_104828.jpg

Man I wish I could afford a 2015 as a beater truck. JK bro, nice truck.
IMPO if would be easiest to get the rear axle out of a TRD OR truck and use the E-Locker.

@chris4x4 can confirm this but I believe,
    the gear ratio, 4:10
    And the gear, 8.4"

Stick with the 8.4" axle....it's alot stronger than the elocker axle....go with a arb air locker
