    Some really cool shit
Not all of us are mechanically inclined. I kinda suck at wrenching. I don't have all the necessary tools. My driveway is sloped. I work 9 hour days, and like to play on the week ends. I'll do some of my own work, but not that much. I want it done right, and to look good when done. So, I pay someone who knows their shit way better than I do. Now, if you need your boat delivered anywhere in the world, I'm your man.

I always think that when I hear a new clunk or noise. "I wonder if that's my spacer coming off".

Amen to that . I have had a lot of stuff done by others due to just lack of time. I do a lot of my own work when I can, but I don't do some things just because I don't want or like doing it. Like changing my oil. I buy the oil and pay like $10 to have it drained and put in. No mess to deal with. Its worth it to me and one less thing I waste my time on doing. If I could afford to pay someone to do everything when it comes to working on my truck I would. My back hates doing mechanical work. To much bending over, and getting in odd positions.

Nope. Operations. But like Oddball told Big Joe, "I don't know what makes them run, I only ride on them".

I often would rather pay someone to work on the truck. For me, it's about logistics. One- car detached garage full of crap. The truck, with the camper, wouldn't clear the opening even if I could pull it in. Our garage is on the back alley, and my rear "driveway" is 10 feet long. Luckily, I have a large brick patio in the backyard where I can work on the truck. Also fortunate that it's not my DD.

It would be so much easier to work on the truck in a garage; I could just leave everything out and just pick-up where I left off, as time permitted. My setup/ breakdown is usually 15 -20 minutes. Not worth it when I only have 30 minute increments to spare.

Not to mention the noise level of working outdoors vs. working in the garage. I could make time to wrench after 9pm, but that impact wrench would ruin my Mr. Roger's- like relationship with the neighbors.

Got my light bar in, looks good to me. Hopefully I can get it installed soon.

Also got some 14x650 coils for free from a T4R member, to say they are rusty is an understatement haha. Going to soak them, strip them and paint them white to match the truck.

Same here with me single detached garage that is full, all work is done in my driveway so weather and time are a huge damper on working on the truck.I wish I had a bigger garage. The wife refuses to sell and upgrade. So some things im stuck waiting for good weather and not a million things going on, or paying someone to do it.
