you can take the three wires out of the white connector with just a small glasses flat head screw driver, push in the tab and pull it out, push a hanger though your fire wall grommet tape the wires to it and pull that sucker through

For any second gen guys, are you leaving out that small trim piece on the left and right of the cowl? I tried cutting the thing but its impossible to put the thing back in without somehow bending the main cowl and forcing it back together.

Installed today. The driver's side bracket didn't want to go in as nicely as the passenger side, but I got it done. The default wiring harness has a ton of extra wire, though, so I've got yet another reason to figure out a secondary fuse box/relay situation and start running custom wires.

I got that wire switch connecter through the firewall, too. Hooked a coat hanger around it, taped it up, and then cut a small slit through the gasket and gave it a good yank. Not elegant, but it worked. I don't love the always-on red LED on the included switch, but I'll be swapped it for a rocker eventually.

I didn't think the ambers were that bright until I went back upstairs and realized I'm still seeing the aftereffects in my eyes...

Lights are all wired up! Wiring with the wiring harness you sell was very straightforward and took no time at all. Thanks for the great groupbuy.

Just installed my ditch lights finally! They are great!! Just a question about anyone in a wet climate. Seeing as the brackets take place of the window edge rain guides, has anyone had any leaking issues?

It's been raining a lot lately since I installed the brackets and I haven't had any problems with leaking.

Thanks for this! Ya it has been pouring here as well and seems to be ok so far. These work great at night!
