South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

any of you guys have any experience storing clothes and other moisture sensitive stuff in sheds using normal storage totes? im moving here in the next two weeks and the new place has a closet the size of a modern day smartphone. needless to say ill be storing some stuff in the shed out back. I just haven't found any sizeable totes that seem to be relatively affordable and sealed.

 

I'd use something like the Ziploc Space Bag before putting clothes into any tote to go in the shed. Should save on space and keep air/moisture away as long as it stays sealed.

 

What Dan said, my sister and family when they sold their house before new one was finished. She also put a sheet of Bounce in each space bag and kept them smelling fresh. On a side note up here we use to put mothballs in cars and trucks we would store in polebarn for winter then someone said use Bounce and it seems to work and smells allot better.

 

so the bounce sheets did the same job as a mothball? im now looking up vacuum seal bags. I forgot these things even existed.

I have been using Bounce instead of mothball in the cars and dads motorhome the last 5 winters when they are stored in polebarn without any problems. But that is mine and 6 or 7 others that have had no problems near me doing the same thing.

5 hours later it is complete. Just gotta wire up my solar panel and I'm good to go

8 bolts going through my bed and bolted underneath. The base its sitting on is bolted to the slide itself.

 

Good deal.

 

More than enough for a 3 day weekend trust me
