Hey guys I'm picking up a set for glass front fenders for my 07. They are painted red. I am torn on what I should do paint wise.
    1. Paint with color matched spray cans and clear with spray cans.
    2. Drop off fenders at the pros.

I'm not made of money but also don't want to half ass it. Anyone with experience in this. Also any advice on fiberglass fenders install or helpful tips wise.

Thanks and I will post pics when installed.

How good or bad is the rest of the finish on your truck? What color is your truck?

The answer to those is the answer to how you finish.

(There are better options than rattle can, even in the bargain basement)

i painted mine myself initially. The color was a bit off otherwise i would have left them. I eventually took them to a pro which im extremely happy with the work.

It does show, but you never really know if that is the vehicle in question or not. And of course you can't tell the condition of the paint in the thumbnail.

Anyway, sounds like professional would be your better choice.
