    True way to measure preload. Also allows for a more accurate transfer of info between differing coilovers brands.

    Kind of... Large fluctuations are possible with this method. How it was parked, what kind of slope its on, if you sat on the drivers side bumper before, yada yada. Probably not enough to disqualify this method but enough to give it a +/- on the number taken... No offense at all CK but its the innertoobs and ya never know how litteral people will take ya

    Tire was off the ground, look at the UCA. Shock was fully extended, there's no truer way to measure preload.
