Got the OGT back together today. Have an appointment at 0800 to get her aligned...again. I have a feeling it was my upper ball joints that were the problem all along. She's driving like a whole different truck now. Guess I should figure on replacing my upper ball joints every two years or so now...but oh well, the parts are free.

Only outstanding item is the passenger steering rack bushing. I'm going to try to warranty it.

Oh and @xweslingx, I'm going to be pulling my rear brake drums soon. Hopefully sometime this week. If you've got a preference, let me know.

I could only help with the rear shocks and probably the aal. Sounds like you do need a mod day after all or take it to a shop. I got lucky and my family friend helped me out with my 5100s.

Paid him in doughnuts, bananas, and a whole lot of gratitude. He also welded my muffler and helped me install my front bumper.

He sells trailers and has a semi-truck mechanic shop out back so he has every tool known to man. I just like his impact tools for my lug nuts. The tire shop I go to likes to torque them all the way on so it's not possible for me to hand loosen them.

I feel you on that one. I don't let people touch my wheels though. Do it myself so I don't have to deal with any of that.

Thanks for the heads up man but I'm slammed this week. I'm on my last two weeks of my current work contract so I'm wrapping things up before I start my next one on the 28th.

Yes I'm a Tampa resident for the next 3 more months.

Okay. I don't think I'm patient enough to wait until next week with the truck being so close to being back in action, but I'll let you know if I don't get to it this week. :D

The diff drop is super easy. You just take the front two mount bolts out and slip a couple of spacers between the diff mount and the frame and tighten it back up. Key here is to take the bolt out of one side, thread in the longer bolt, then remove the bolt from the other side, slip in the spacer, thread the new bolt in on that side, then take the bolt on the first side out, slip in the spacer and thread the bolt back in before tightening both sides up. It's a simple process. Probably take you longer to drop the skid plate than it will to install the diff drop.

The coilovers are going to be the sketchy part.
