I got the same response from them and I'm 10 on this list here . How ever it works out , I just want the bearing and the price is nice . Hopefully it will all come together and make sense . It all happened fast and hence some confusion happening I guess . I didn't really understand the "bumping off the list " thing and I think I read something about "hurry up and contact them" . Well I had things to do lol . So I wasn't part of a mad rush to get my name on a list , again ....

 

This .... ^^^ aka if you aren't sitting on the computer and 40 late comers to the buy show up , you get bumped ? When you were in on page one?

No it's not that. They are just busy and I think I dropped a bomb on them when I mentioned the words Group Buy and bombarded them with an unexpected amount of business all at once.

As far as I know I haven't seen one installed on one yet. All I know is that your bearing does NOT fit directly under the crossmember it sits out a little bit, so it will require a little bit of modification to get it right.

I never saw you tell me that you wanted in, but since you have been tracking this thread for a while consider yourself in.

Yeah it's all just confusing and the unexpected amount of people wanting this hit me and the company like a brick flying 100mph right in the face. You will get your reply and if you don't receive one, send another one and call afterwards to get them to confirm that.

First round of 40 for the group buy is closed and is complete. If you aren't planning on picking one up after all, please let me know so I can bump a guy up from Round 2 of the group buy in for the next 20 to the list of 40. Thank you.

Because my email response was "wait till we have enough people " so they are saying not enough yet , but you are saying there is 40 and folks will have to wait . I wanted in on page one, so I'm trying to see if I'm actually in to buy this thing or of I'm "bumped" to the next 20 or whatever .

The 40 spots are spoken for ON THIS LIST. Since you are part of it, you get to get included in their mass group buy given that you emailed them and sent them your information, however, because it will be so many CB's being shipped out all at once they want to wait until they have all of the units in stock and ready to go and/ or them be built by them AND THEN they ship them out to you. So order today and it will take roughly 2-3 weeks to arrive. You could imagine they don't stock that many of them all at once, plus they need to keep a stock of them immediately on hand for other random customers who call too.

@12TRDTacoma I am on the list twice #5 and #37. I'm sure one of these others members will gladly jump in on the first batch

No kidding. People went ballistic apeshit over it. Hahaha. My expectations of 20 basically doubled to 40 with ease.
