    New 626 member checking in. Just moved to Tujunga but I work and spend most of my time in Pasadena. Just recently got my '04 Tacoma 4x4. Actually it's still at the dealer waiting on a couple of parts but when I finally bring her home I'll be looking for some local spots to test her out.

    Anyway, just wanted to say hey. This site has already got my wallet sweating. So many mods, so little expendable income... :sadviolin:

    oh man, where to begin. First and foremost I want to hit the trails. I scored on this truck, it's an '04 TRD with only 25k miles on it. I want to hit some trails and get back into the outdoors on my days off. I figure this truck is plenty well-equipped stock, at least to get started. My last Tacoma was a Prerunner so I need to familiarize myself with the ins and outs of 4 wheel drive. My previous experience in off-roading involved not getting my Prerunner stuck, which happened more times than I can remember, lol. I eventually put a locker in it and it was a night & day difference, but I'm excited to finally have a 4x4.

    Eventually, a small (1 - 3" max) suspension lift, Bestop Supertop over the bed, sliders, bumpers, bluetooth stereo...that's what comes to mind first, anyhow.
