Hiya. I've got a 2009 Tacoma 4x4. She ain't the prettiest and she's just about stock (does adding a cheapie rack to the bed count?) but she's mine. (This is my truck. There are many like it but this one is mine). Years ago, while expecting our second child, husband and I went out and purchased a 2009 Prerunner. That truck flooded during one of the many storms that plague southern Louisiana. Because I'd been having arguments with my first 09 about its automatic transmission's poor timing choices, I went out and found a standard transmission truck to replace my lost truck. Those are limited in the south, especially used, but I found my current baby and she's good to me. The four wheel drive is just a bonus. She's four door cab, allowing me to haul my kids around, and she's done everything for me from heavy traffic jams to hauling motorcycles to pulling posts out of the ground. The shorter bed is a shame but you can't have everything. If anyone asks me what my dream car might be, I can honestly say I'm driving it and not at lot of people get the pleasure of that. Geez. Whatelse can I say? I love my truck.

    Welcome...that's a sweet hood ornament!

Nothing wrong with a mostly stock truck.....you probably do more with it stock than many do with their mall crawlers (not that there's anything wrong with that ;))!

Well. About the hood ornament ... We have roughly two acres of partially wooded land surrounded by lots of wooded land. There was a lady in the city who needed a place to keep her goats. We came to an agreement and became partial caretakers for a herd of troublemakers. Hah! It was fun having them around but there were too many (owner failed to geld her baby boy goats and so the number of goats kept growing. I've assisted in goat labor which is not something I ever expected to experience first hand). The other problem was, as seen in the picture, the fencing she installed to keep them contained was less than goat proof. Long story short, no more goats, but they sure did provide a great many photo opportunities.
