Please forgive this question, only decent truck I've owned so far.

I have a Limited 4x2, I got the 4x2 because I don't PLAN on going offroading in it (I have a dirt bike for that) but what is the truck actually capable of? It doesn't have any crawl functions etc but it does have an automatic limited slip diff. Would I get stuck in the first patch of sand I see?

I have a 2010 Sport that has the limited slip, you won't get stuck unless you don't have much off road experience. Here are some clips from this week of me getting over some rocks.

Before getting my truck I was strongly against ever getting a canopy. Now I'm starting to like the way the truck looks like with a canopy. I should stay off this forum, it's a bad influence hahaha.

Especially nice for long drives when it's not convenient or possible to camp (unless you want to get robbed) - in urban areas, freeway rest stops, or when it's 2am at the trailhead in pouring rain after 5 hours of driving. Just snuggle up in the back with all my gear dry and cozy right where I park. Finding a spot to sleep is never a problem - a supermarket parking lot, a dirt road, a suburban neighborhood. The extra weight adds traction in the winter too.

It's not a cheap, but a very satisfying investment. You can save money if you are patient and a good shopper (most men are not - :D ). And if you're single, you have no excuse. :)

Thank you very much! :) Looking forward to seeing your build. The lift and some aggressive tires really add to it. Next I want to get some lights, a skid plate and some side protection.

Still trying to decide where to put the light bar in the front. I see many trucks with them in the grille - I would prefer that over anything that would add wind-drag. It will block a little air getting to the radiator but I suppose it's so small it won't have any real effect.

Would a stock truck be able to handle most of that trail? I'm looking for some new spots and it looks like you had fun. And how do you like the sliders? I'm considering getting the bolt on version.

Really? You can't see the towers and poles in the background?
