I'm a big fan of Osprey.

The Stratos, Exos and Atmos lines.

I love my REI pack. No complaints.

Sold an Osprey Aether 70 for an REI Flash 65. Osprey is a great brand also, but heavier than what I wanted.

Thank you for the input. I like the reputation of of osprey but after watching a few videos of the features of the rei pack I'm leaning that way just never seen one up close.

For $20 more you could get the exos 48, which is 1 lb lighter. That weight will make a big difference in the long run!

I want an Exos or a Stratos. I did see a Kestrel 32 in a sexy looking special NPS 100th anniversary colorway with embroidered logo at REI today.

Every once in a while. I usually use my daypack with climbing stuff. Most of the approaches around here are less than an hour so i dont carry too much extra stuff.

I've been just borrowing buddies harnesses and done just fine like that , makes it easier on us if everyone just brings a few things rather than hump it all to the climb. Today I don't even know what brand this damn thing was but after 4 falls I thought I had done some long lasting damage to my happy place.
I've looked on Amazon and review sites but does anyone have experiences in some good harnesses. I just want some comfort lol

Safetech waldo, probably one of the most comfortable harnesses out there.

Typicaly one person carries the rope and the other brings the draws/cams/nuts/webbing etc. And everybody has their own harness, helmet, belay device etc.

Good insight. Now that my oldest just crossed into Scouts, time to upgrade. Been using 10-20 year old stuff, lol!

Still using my thermarest and MSR whisperlight from when I was in Scouts. Been putting up with my old sleeping bag for way too long, lol. Time to upgrade all.

Mine is full size, but I like it. Also bought the Theremarest ultralight cot- which I love! I use both, together.

I would definitely go full size too. I usually have to get the "tall" versions of everything. the woman just got a thermarest because hers got a hole in it too and its the pool float style so Ill have to give it at try because that sucker is light! mine was heavy as hell and didn't compress down too much.
