I live right down the road from there and spend a lot of my weekends hiking around. The one thing you must do afterwards is get some ice cream at "West End Creamery". Sit down by the lake and enjoy the sun.

I'll have to check it out. I'm always looking for places to take the dog hiking. I usually end up going to blue hills cause there's a decent amount of trails there and you get a decent workout with all the scrambling over rocks.

I'm telling you it's hard to make a clean break when you live together. Never again

Just be extra careful--that place has a weird effect on people, they tend to fall to their death there for no apparent reason...

it's just been a lot figuring out how to separate everything out, i sold a lot of my furniture when i moved in so i have been trying to replace that. plus seeing each other every day just causes fights etc. it's not pretty

haha never again live together unless there is a ring

Right, because the ring makes it SOOOO much easier to make a clean break...

Im in the camp that you need to live together before a ring. Make sure you are compatible and get along well after the magic of dating wears off. But sorry you gotta go through that.

Breaking up sucks regardless of how intertwined your lives are.

i used to believe that too, but after living with three guys i'm done with it. this was the first one where i moved in with him, rather him moving in with me. it's definitely a lot easier to kick someone out than to move out haha

I know a bunch of you like to cook. My cousin has been doing competition bbq for awhile now. I just ordered a bunch of his rubs and sauces . I haven't received them yet so I can't say if it's any good but figured I'd throw it out there for anyone interested in trying something different. Here's his website http://www.saucehoundbbq.com
He's on Facebook too under sauce hound. He's is in a few stores in mass or you can order online .

You lived with 3 guys?! No wonder you were having such a hard time making a clean break!

Are his sauces Vinegar or Ketchup based?

yeah you know, i'm a pretty big deal....
no i lived with one when i was young and dumb and that didn't work out, but not a big deal
after my ex before this one was caught cheating and lying i kicked him out and swore i'd never live with a guy again
this ex and i had been together for a while, and i gave in to him wanting me to live with him. well that lasted less than a year from moving in

Not an expert, but I don't think "big deal" is the correct term for those women... :stirthepot:

Sounds like you need to start doing CIA-style interrogations before you let a candidate move in, lol.
If they can survive a good waterboarding then they can survive Rebecca.

So what you're saying is that you need to waterboard the ex's instead...
    I follow you now.
