Don't buy him what you want...let him pick. You'll likely come out cheaper. When my daughter got her learner's permit, I convinced her she wanted a Benz, when my son got his permit, I convinced him he wanted a lifted Tacoma...cost us a lot of money and they don't appreciate them nearly like they should...sad but true.

53 and never had kids but along the way i've dated girls who have and learned kids can make money disappear quicker than David Cooperfield can ! The worst was about 12 years ago and the chick had 3 boys, 13, 11, and 9 all racing motocross. I was broke for 2 years !!

Yeah, spoiled my kids absolutely rotten, but they are good kids. In the driveway, we have a 2016 BMW X3, a 2015 Tacoma DCSB 4x4 Sport, a 2014 RC Tacoma 4x4, an 2013 Mercedes C250 Sport, and a 1989 Toyota 4x4. And a lifted 2015 Yamaha gas golf cart and a 2015 Hurricane deck boat. We like our toys.
It's stupid, really.
