Anyways, I ended up having to get a loan extension on the 4Runner to pay for the replacement transfer case... Guess that's just how it goes when you're a college student who isn't working haha. Would of had it paid off this summer, but I added another 8 payments, 4 this summer and 4 next summer.

The only 99 Limited case I could find anywhere relatively near me is being shipped in to Hanser's junkyard in Billings. They're good guys and I've had experience working with them in the past... but the case ended up running me $650 all up front... The saving grace on it is a 1 year warranty, and I do have writing to say they will cover it even though I am installing myself. Picking it up on Thursday or Friday so I'll post pictures or something then, and hopefully be back up and running by next Monday at the latest!

 

Just noticed you are/were in Red Lodge, nice! My dad just moved about 10 min from Bridger. We visited him this last October and he took us all around Red Lodge since he lived there for 9 month prior, awesome little town and the brewery there was pretty good. Hoping to get back out this fall again.

Awesome! Whose your dad, I may know him or recognize the name at least. It is pretty cool here, and I do like the brewery a lot even though legally I probably shouldn't be saying that haha... I worked as a bartender last summer as a 20 year old and ended up drinking quite a bit of their beer since its what we had on tap. I go to school in Butte so I bounce back and forth, but if you're ever in the area again, hit me up. I'd love to do a bit of wheeling/exploring/hiking and grab some beers afterwards.

Damn right I'll take some pictures lol. Gotta replace my tranny output shaft seal too so waiting on that to be delivered, but I think I have everything it takes to get the new one put in. Gonna be my Saturday project hopefully.
