    If you mean in the same year, no, a driver can only compete for a championship in one series. If you mean win one series one year and another one the following year, no, that hasn't happened either. Biffle won the truck series and then the cup series within a couple of years though. Seems like that would be a Kyle Busch thing to do though.

    Yeah I meant rookie xfinity champion one year and rookie sprint cup champion the following year. I guess w/ camping truck thrown in it's almost like winning the triple crown. Seems hard to do especially with all the chase rules changing.

    Maybe it wasn't cup, maybe it was Busch? I know he won a truck championship. No one said anything about him winning ROY :notsure:

    Edit: just looked it up, he won truck and Busch championships 2 years apart.

    Double edit:
    I guess the closest time between championships from xfinity to cup would be Keselowksi in 2010/2012

    Also, the only drivers in the last 30 years to have won a Busch/Xfinity championship and a cup championship are Bobby Labonte, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski. Gordon, Stewart and Johnson never won a championship intent series. Earnhardt, Jr. did.
