I bought new wheels and tires with new tpms. The new tpms had to be reprogrammed by Toyota which cost me $140. I'm not sure which would have been the cheaper route to go, but maybe this will help you decide. And no, it won't void your warranty.

Did the TPMS come with the wheels and tires or did you purchase separately? If so, where did you buy them?

The cheaper route is to swap your tpms out for sure...

I bought the wheels and tires from www.discounttiredirect.com. They mount and balance the tires for you and include hardware. They also add the tpms if you buy them. So when the wheels came in I just put them on. I knew ahead of time that I would have to get them reprogrammed which cost me $140. But how much will you pay to have wheels and tires broken down, mounted, balanced(x2). I was thinking I went the cheaper easier route.

I purchased wheels and tires from them as well, but via ebay (and saved $300), but had to do separate transactions to get the discount and purchased the wheels on a different day, so i already received the tires. I'll have to decide whether or not to purchase them on the side or have my stockers broken down. Thanks for the info!

Yes in your case, since they didn't come already installed and mounted and balanced, I would have your stocks broken down and swapped out. Especially if you don't plan on re-mounting and balancing the stocks for the buyer.

My first mod and definitely not the last.it's a CB antenna mount I designed and built It's not finished I need to primer and paint the mount still. Might end up having it stamped out instead of using the plasma cnc, need to route the wire into the cab somehow as well

Anyways it's just a piece of 10GA galvanneal with a 90, I used the holes that were already in the bed for a mounting location, not sure if it's a good spot (will the truck antenna interfere?).[IMG]

Looks awesome. Nice to see the TRD wheels in grey instead of black. What size tires did you get?

Well ya I only live once....but mainly just to fix the seat belt chime and that light. I happen to make frequent short trips and got sick of it.
