As of today's posting on the website, Turkey Bay is still closed. But, there is a Plan B.

    Later.

Yeah.. I was hoping to visit SC (never been before). But the owner of gulches has closed the park Sat night and I'm not looking to drive that far with one day of wheeling.

FYI...Just called the visitor center at LBL. Turkey Bay is still closed. He said they were looking at re-opening next weekend March 25-26. He said he didn't expect they would open this weekend, but to call Friday to make sure.

Is there any kind of permit needed to ride the forest roads at LBL?

I'm sure this has been said but even with turkey Bay closed there is still tons of offroading to do right?

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
I'm going. Whether park is open or closed is a minor detail.
Highway median counts as trail ride if necessary.

Plenty to see in LBL without TB being open. Can't believe they'll still be closed though. Seems to be drying up nicely. I'd bet if TB wasn't actually in LBL it'd be open. Gub'ment keeping the working man down :ballchain:
