    My rule of thumb... The bigger the pack, the more shit you're going to haul.. I limit myself to the 2800 pack, it's enough for two front quarters from an elk on the first trip, then trips for each of the rears including backstrap, tenderloins and other cut meat. It's about the limit I want to carry as far as weight is concerned..

    Done deal. If I sell my Eberlestock, I want the 2800. But I only see the 220 on their website...?

    Dang it, you're right... looks like this discontinued the 2800. The clutch or sacrifice is probably what replaced it. I can call my rep tomorrow and check if you want.

    I would appreciate that. Just PM me a price and we can see. I gotta push to sell my Eberlestock. Doesn't do me any good to have two packs when I only need one haha.

    I have 2-3 packs, one for backup and one for anyone else I can recruit to help pack out meat... :)

    Ill email my dude and see if I can get stock, prices and see if they have any 2800s in the warehouse.

    It's taking my guy a little longer to get back to me than expected. He was out on PTO apparently when I called him on his cell phone. He's going to have someone send me the 2016 price and catalog, so i should have it shortly (i hope). Wonder how much interest there would be in a group buy on the packs/gear/accessories...

    Hey All;

    So there has been some talk about some recent chatter about hunting packs and stuff. I have some contacts in the industry and I'd like to offer up a local GB of sorts. No real minimums, just trying to share the discounts with some local folks.

    I can get special pricing on Badlands Packs, as well as Swarovski Optics and some shooting gear (I have others too but not hunting/shooting related). I'd like to see if there is enough interest from you guys. I know I'll be able to beat any retail MAP (Manufacturer Advertised Price). On the packs it's at least 25% off MAP price. On the optics it will be at least $100 cheaper than MAP.

    Any interest?

    Well guys it looks like it's just the 3 of us so far.. Go ahead and take a look at the badlands pack website and PM me what you want, in what camo pattern. I can get just about everything on their website, so just send me a list (and sizes) and I'll get you pricing.

    I'm going to replace the trigger in my 700 and a couple of my ARs.
