The big challenge with the Classic/Muscle category for me is I don't have a particular model/brand/type that I'm really connected to or passionate about. They are a labor of love.

I love crawlin' but a year and half of downtime on the buggy is tough.

Yeah that sounds about right on the time frame I was expecting. But once youre done holy shit you got a nice ride for cruising with jesus and looking for p ussy
I have always just been a fan of those old ford round bodies. And having It slammed and a cruiser is all I want out of it. Im surprised your buggy is still down. Figured you would have gotten the itch by now.

Slowly plugging away. Lots of little puzzle pieces that are pushing my skill/experience level. I'm trying.

I'm glad to be healthy enough again to work on it.

Just saw the answer on TC's fb page:
13" of useable travel with 4WD and limit straps.
    3-4" of lift
    7" Track width increase.
4130 Chromoly Plate Lowers and 4130 Tubular UCA's
Offers maximum ground clearance and weighs 10 pounds less than the standard TC +3.5" LT kit.
    Billet uniball cups

Yes. 13" is like the mid travel length of a tundra...

Who's bored and has a tape measure/truck handy?

Height to the underside of the rock sliders?
Height to the front bumper in front of the tires?
Horizontal distance from front tire to bottom edge of front bumper?

    Tire Size?
    Lift Height?

So I drive at a minimum 300 miles a week for work. 90% highway miles at about 80mph on cruise. I'm gonna be changing my oil for the first time on the Tacoma.

Any recommendations for a good high mileage synthetic or blend? Specific Filter recommendations? Any other Tacoma specific tips in regards to oil?

I've changed my own oil hundreds of times on my other vehicles. I'm just not sure what these trucks need or should need.

Ideally OEM oil filter which can be found on Amazon or eBay fairly cheaply, but it really doesn't matter. And then Mobil 1 Full synthetic.

On conventional dealership shit, I was needing to get an oil change every 5k. What intervals should I be looking at with the Mobil 1?
