No I didn't find my trailer. Like looking for a needle in a haystack. Besides if I did find it I would get arrested for what I might do.
Got a popup camper, could not bring myself to get a another travel trailer. It was the something I wanted for a long time.
Is crime as bad every place else as it is here?

Feel like I live in Northern Mexico.

I had an employee years back that had the job long enough to get housing assistance, then did not show for work. She was to open the convenience store that Saturday AM. She had a small child, so she was able to get help.

    Morning all:
Need some input from some old geezers, or gezzerette! :D
Been reading about trailer tires, and what brand to buy. Seems like 99.99% of them are made in China, and are referred to as "China bombs" due to the amount of failures/blowouts related to them. One name keeps coming up, Maxxis, which are made in Taiwan but have much better ratings.
I have read several times that a LT tire can be used on a trailer, if it's within the same load range of the ST (trailer) tire.
Anyone have first hand knowledge on this, or know anyone that has used the LT tires on a trailer?

Me too Mike, but I need a set of tires. The ones that are on the trailer under my 17' StarCraft have little cracks all over the sidewalls and I don't want to chance it.
I called a tire dealer today that I have done business with over the years, he's been there for a long time and is reputable. He didn't have the tires I was calling about, but did mention 2 other brands that he carries. He said he hasn't had people complain about them, and so far hasn't had a problem with them.
He sells a lot of tires, and from dealing with him I believe what he's telling me, not that he's just saying that to sell a set of tires.
Looks like I need to make a trip down there. :fingerscrossed:

I Wish I could remember the brand I have. Balance out well and low road force.
Trailer tires are special. I have seen the results of not using them.... Scary......

It's getting to the point where using almost any ST tire is SCARY!
Like I said they are virtually all made in China and have earned the nickname "China bombs" because of the high failure rate associated with them.
Maxxis M8008 and Kumho 857 are the top two mentioned, the Kumho may actually be both a trailer and LT tire and has the highest speed rating of them all.
Just got info. on another tire; Goodyear Cargo G26 195/70R15c, but would need to buy 15" rims.
Seems like nothing's easy anymore, years ago you could probably buy any brand trailer tire and it would be satisfactory, not like the junk they are selling today.

You are correct. Everything is junk. Someone that sells a lot is your best bet. In a situation I would have to defer to your tire guy.

On the Tire Rack site, you can view where tires are made, although some may be sourced from a number of countries and depending on size where they are made.

I live in Nova Scotia in eastern Canada. We have no snow, no flooding and no earthquakes. Sun is shining and just about freezing. I wouldn't trade this for anything.

Okay woodsmen, I have a query for you. What creature does this belong to? It's a carnivore, I suspect.

Don't think carnivore may be deer, looks like what rabbits and deer leave behind. Most carnivore poop looks like what a dog does, even cats looks the same.
What part of the country are you located?

Thanks for the replies. I'm in PA, kind of on the border between mid-Atlantic and New England.

More background on the scat: I looked out this morning to see one of the koi from my garden pond laying on the ground next to the water, covered in dirt and mulch. The fish is 18" long and weighs 3 or 4 pounds. Amazingly its gills were still moving so it went back in the water; we'll see whether it survives I guess. It's got damage.

My two other large koi were gone altogether. There were little bits of fish scattered on the bottom of the pond, scales and fins.

I'd normally think heron, and one of those did find our pond last year and take some smaller fish. But from what I've seen of them they just slide the fish down whole, and the missing fish are bigger than I'd expect a heron to take like that. So I'm leaning towards something four legged. I saw that scat near the scene of the event. Looks like deer to me too, and we do have plenty of them. Plus pellets are usually herbivore scat. But I thought I'd give it a go amongst folks with more experience than me.
