noticed the single shear but, every picture I've seen of those lower uniball adapters are always really hacked up so I kinda assumed they were all like that, I wouldnt be comfortable with it personally

I have an arb in a trussed t100 axle. I want to know, do most of you guys run locked in the desert? Wanting to know how much abuse the arb can take, or if it's more for when needing traction or for crawling speeds.

The ARB itself will hold up fine, its your R&P that will give up first.

ARB is super stout. You will destroy the gears well before the locker. But you personally will pop cvs before that I bet anyways

Was hoping to find someone with 4x4 kind concerned that they use the full travel of the rack with the cv axle. Hoping it doesn't bind under a load while crawling and snap the axle.

So I am pretty much new to the whole Long Travel aspect. I've been reading a lot of the threads in this part of the forums and been reading up on other peoples LT builds. I've seen a lot of builds with 2.5x8" Coilovers from either King,Fox or etc. I plan on starting my new Tacoma off from the start by going Long Travel. My question is the 2.5x8" coilovers, in which this case I want to go with Kings, are they these coilovers (http://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-2...e-reservoir-in-8-inch-travel-with-spring.html) or are they the OEM Performance Extended Travel coilovers. If they are the ones that I linked will they fit for now on my stock truck until I have the money to get the LT Kit? I am more or less confused on what coilovers @mjp2 is talking about in the "Long Travel Information" thread.

Thanks for the help. Feel free to pm me

Extended travel will not work with lt, buy your kit and call @Downsouth Motorsports. Micah will hook it up

Yes you need 2.5x8 and now they won't fit now

So in general, what is the consensus on the look of the 2015 Tacoma? The 2016+ with the "big mouth" is definitely bad. But this look is...good or meh?
