Yea sometimes it works better in your head. Hopefully it all plays nice! Just have to flex it out good on the bump and see. At least you've got something.

Jace, I have a quick question on your Softopper. In regards to your rear window, how does it attach to the tailgate? Velcro, snaps, or with the window bar? Or possibly a combination of all three methods. I received my Softopper for free and haven't been able to find a clear answer on how the canopy closes on our trucks at the tailgate. My topper didn't come with a window bar and I'm unsure if I need to order one or if the Velcro will close seal the window by itself.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

There are 3 sticky velcro strip on the top of the tail gate. There is also a bar that goes through the flap that connects into little plastic clips on each side. I'd imagine, it'd be fine without the bar. But velcro would be a good idea

Yeah I am with you there. A sled would be the ultimate toy haha :spy:

Speaking of limit straps did you mention that I should shorten mine to be safe on the axles?

A small handful of select mods.
Jace do you think a set of RCV axles would not bind? Just curious cause he went through the trouble of LT and now has to limit it. What the gain?

    What haven’t I changed?
I thought RCV axles were bad because then your front diff would break before the axles do?

Slightly more up travel and droop with longer coilovers / stronger chromoly extended lowers and uppers than stock length LCA and upper

So how much travel do you have it strapped at?

It was at 11.7" when i measured last. That's what my notes say - it's advertised at 11.5" I think, so maybe I have to tighten the straps by 1/4"

That's still pretty good, about two over a properly strapped and bumped stock length setup.

Yeah I can understand why most people are critics of this kit that I'm running. Lots of money for what first appears to be minimal added performance with +2". I don't want fiberglass either

But can't argue with the design, the urethane bushings and chromoly boxed arms. Just better all around and I love how it rides. Not expecting it to perform as a full blown race kit but it's definitely more reliable and a whole hell of a lot stronger than stock

Yeah I'd strap it a other quaternary inch and make sure the axles stop binding
