Im contimplating putting in a diff drop kit on my 16 dbc long box 4x4. It has bilstein 5100 set at third notch 1.75 inch and stock coils. Lite racing UCA and 1 inch block in the rear with 5100 shocks. Im hearing mixed reviews on this and some sound input would be great. Diff clearance wont be an issue for me.

I was thinking it might be better for front cv joint wear in the long run?

I am on the fence as well. I don't want to create excessive wear on the CV's, but on the other hand.. I have read about people having increased vibrations and needle bearing issues with the drop kit. Ain't broke don't fix it? :notsure:

on a 3rd gen it will increase the front driveline vibrations I had mine on for 24 hours and took it off immediately. Are my cv angles perfect no, do they need to be, no. So far all is well. Less vibes and no issues.

you need the conversion if you have the vibration in 2wd and then it goes away in 4wd. Do you have that issue?
