Played with it a little bit at KOH. Kind of an interesting machine in how it sets wire speed and heat with presets based on thickness (wasn't a fan).

So essentially it's like the Miller Autoset machines. Can you turn that off and set manually at least?

I watched a review vid on it, you can take it out of preset/s and fine tune it, to whatever you need it.
    Check it dawgs.

Called a welding supply place today, inquired about it.. They said they'd been selling a good bit of them. Supposedly they're supposed to be legit.

You would need to pay me Quite a Bit to even look at a Esab !!

It takes forever even to get warranty parts.

For home use I would go with Hobart

Just the bottles alone are worth a few hundred bucks. If you can get a full set up for under $400 that's good deal.

One has to be real careful

2 cylinders both due for Hydro test

Dry Rotted hose more then likely

time for regulators to be rebuilt ??

Then the Quality of the Set a good one or a cheap built China one a few years old

Having had to live through my parents estate being settled the stuff that went to the sale was only the junk no one else wanted .

All the goodies were picked out and one has to know they were both pack rats

I have to agree. Torch kits are not that expensive. Its the tanks that sting you. If the tanks are pretty full, then yes, it can be a deal.

With that said, I sold my torches 15 years ago. I can do everything with my plasma cutter and any heating of parts I can do with a propane torch.

I didnt stick around for the torch set...most of this stuff was very old and quite used. Some people were paying New prices for old junk. I did get a few things I thought was a deal/steal but a majority of it wasnt worth what people paid for it.

Lol. My last auction was about 10 years ago. That same reason I quit going to them.

Kind of a shame, we go to find deals and there are non.

I guess I am old fashioned for what ever reason I still go to the torch first .

Even though they are both a few steps from one another .

Maybe it is just habit and muscle memory

I decided to buy new tires instead of a welder for now, it will have to wait until next month or two. I decided to get the Lincoln power mig180.
