I had these tires for less then a month before I took them back. I was driving on a road I have been on thousands of times and made the turn to my street and did a 180 in to a fence and telephone box. This was snow packed road but I have never had a problem with any other tires and I had just replaced my m/s2. I do not recommend these tires at all

Couldn't be happier with the Toyo At2. Look great but maintain excellent road manners. They are very quiet but are louder than the OEM highway tires. Not much and not intrusively.

I had 265/75r16 C load on a v6 and I honestly found them to be a below average in regards to street use. I have had P load Nitto Terra Grapplers in both my 03 and my 12 and found them to be a good all around tire but they are heavy. I have also has P load Michelin m/s 2 s on both trucks and hands down prefer them for highway, light to heavy snow (NOT extreme), towing, and basic trails. The Michelin m/s 2 in 265/70r17 is almost a pound lighter then the 265/65r17 Nitto Grappler (I weighted them before installing). However I can't complain about the Nittos in any way for what they are...the ability to have the larger tire without taking a heavy MPG loss and a extremely comfortable ride is what drove me to buy Michelins again.

Haha right? Lemme google shredded tire. Pretty sure I can find a tire with any brand name down the side.

    In progress...
Got AT3's load C installed today. I got about half an hour drive with those so I cannot comment wear, but I really like the way they handle the highway and the little gravel road I found on my way back. They are not made for snow in my opinion, they got ATW for that (the compound stays softer in freezing conditions but tey wear faster). I run Nokian in the wintertime, but it is to be able to drive when it's -20 outside.

Blasphemy, you better bit your tongue or every BFG nut swinger will be on here to lynch you from a tree telling you they are the best for hwy, mud, snow, wear, mpg, ect...

Haha, oh are you serious? Guess you will never be buying any tire ever again in life. You know something could have easily been ran over like metal shrapnel or something that could have taken out any tire right?

Lol at all the people recommending duratracs for a 100+ mile commute and wanting longevity. I have seen more threads about those tires wearing out fast than any others (not to mention the sidewall strength...)

Those Coopers are towards the top of my list, not the most aggressive looking but one of the best performing and higher rated tires. Not to mention made in the USA and well priced and behaved on the street.

Shitty situation, but not uncommon. Here's a picture of my duratrac.

Was that an actual blowout, or just damage from going off-road?

Agreed about the Duratracs. I'm running them as we speak. They are probably the closest thing to a MT in the AT class. The wear pretty quick compared to other AT's. Haven't had the sidewall take a shit though.

I hate to admit it but my truck is a mall crawler that I've spent way too much money on. I was taking a highway off-ramp when that happened. Driving along and all of a sudden my rear end sagged and the TPMS light came on.

I got almost 60,000 out of my set. Still had appreciable amount of tread left too. Then again I rotated them every 5,000 miles, checked pressure, and they were a D load range.
