    @ocherp
    So the new TC race kit is 5Lbs lighter per side and an extra 2" more ground clearance. It will have a heimed option for about 350$ more.
    Kit will retail around 3600 for the non heimed version.
    Pat is going to bring the new lower up to the OVerland Expo for display.

    Managed to lose a bunch of my oil equipment over the years in the army so I bought all this for under $100 and now my almost monthly oil change bill will go down to $40 instead of $100.

    On the topic of Oil, @Zona Scout don't forget to go check out the Mobil 1 rebate going on right now. You should get $12 back if you got 5qts. I purchased from Amazon LLC last time and Mobil 1 honored them as a valid retailer.

    On a different topic, I am about to order a retrofit kit from TRS as I just bought brand new Depo headlights for a fresh start. I am going to be doing 100mm halos inside of the shrouds, but I am dumb as a box of rocks when it comes to wiring. I have thought further about this and I have decided I would like to wire these to a OTRATTW rocker switch inside of the cab but am unsure of where the constant 12V power source to the switch will originate and how to tap into it. What has anyone else been doing for wiring the led rings if they have them? Also, I have no clue about wiring for the switchback feature which makes the halo turn to the amber color as a blinker function. I believe I just somehow tap into the blinker signal, but I am unsure of how to do this.

    I can't get a reply from anyone at TRS on here or Facebook and I have tried calling numerous times and only got a hang of someone who wasn't helpful and contradicted what I have read on the TRS website itself. So if anyone has any advice at all, I'd appreciate it haha.

    Id say find a different company. If they are not helpful before the purchase, why would they be after?

    It was for interior and exterior-wash/clay/buff/wax. Usually wouldn't get it buffed but I had scratches. No engine or shampoo.

    Yeah..it fucking kills me to give them my money. But they simply seem like the top dog in the industry and what everyone on TW uses, so I feel that I will be able to at least use this community for support rather than even trying with TRS.

    Yeah, he builds em from what I saw. But I should come out spending about $500 total on everything including new headlights, all retrofit gear, otrattw rockers and an iggy switch panel.

    Sounds like you should just build them. There are a few sets of headlights on CL that you can destroy in the process

    Building them isn't hard, it just takes a lot more time than what you'd expect.

    I've heard of it before. I guess if it bothers you then yes, it's a real thing. It's a real stupid thing if you ask me.
