    haha, same...

    but.... i think everyone in this thread comes in here with that hope? isnt it the whole point? even if you are the spotter, the intention is that someone see's it and then you can make romance explosions on each other.

    :fingerscrossed::thumbsup:

    Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

    I've seen like 6 in the past two days. I don't even bother taking pictures or posting about it cause nobody owns up to the ones I see.

    I've been spotted once. And it was probably because I had a 12ft ladder hanging out of the back of my softopper at the time.

    I get the same thing all the time. I wave I get no waves. Then I never see modded tacos, but when I do I still get nothing. Just a stare

    I've gotten a few waves. Light bar blinks. Nods. But mostly nothing. Even from modded trucks.

    If anyone spots me roaring down the 10, 210, 60, 57, 91, 15, 215, or 605, don't hesitate to give me a wave. I'm always on the lookout for other nice rigs out there.

    you have to remember how many thousands of tacoma's are on the road and weigh that out to how many people actually mod theirs, and then weigh that group out to how many people actually research and post on a forum... its a pretty slim margin, at least with Tacoma's...

    now you go to an enthusiast group, for example, like Subaru (ive been on the Subie forums for 10 years) and id get about 8 of out 10 people waving to me or back at me. - at least back in the era when Subie's were more the enthusiast rally car. that has definitely changed when they went more general on the look trying to get mass market. started in 2008... Now all the new assholes don't wave.

    I've noticed the dickwagging is really disappointing. Guys who clearly wheel their rig I'm cool with mirin'. If they've got that thing lifted up 6-8" and on chrome 24"s I'm cruising by like they're invisible.

    I'll try to take a picture of something obviously modded but most tacomas in East County are plain stock

    And there's a lot of them

    Yeah I take pictures when I can. But most of the time forget to post by the time I get where I'm going. Haha

    Was it a black tacoma with a snorkel? haha

    Dang! I don't go that direction much anymore. I go North a lot now. Only head into the Whittier direction on weekends for a CCNA class.

    Heheh, no snorkel. No spare tire carrier either I don't think. Stock height, I can't remember if he had aftermarket shocks or not.... I remember the soft topper the most.

    A lot the times I can't see the driver, so I don't know if they are waving or not. The only time I do see someone, it's on city streets.
