    Don't know it. It's probably a 900 #, though.

Used to have a surveyor work for us who would show up EVERY Monday morning looking like death. The first two times I thought it was because he was legitimately sick, then I caught on real quick that the asshole was coming in hung over like a mofo. One Monday when I had enough of it because he was slowing us down and whining that his tummy hurt, I made him cut line all day (using machete to clear a visual line) through the wetlands - he wanted more bug spray so I didnt stop him. Deet has this tendency to clog up your pores so your skin doesnt breathe that well.....he started heaving hard right around lunch time. Said he needed to go to the store to get a gatorade, and never came back.

I have zero tolerance for that. You are getting paid from my pocket - I do not pay in advance for you to have a good time the night before.

My girlfriend works for a surveying firm (technically a civil engineering firm) in Portland; she says that the guys absolutely hate driving rebar into frozen ground when they're hung over. *CLANG!* *CLANG!* *CLANG*!

I know that when I worked for a building contractor the guys who showed up hung over (usually the 'move this and put it there' grunts) hated the nailguns or the saws, lol.

Awesome. That's good to hear. Going to upgrade anything while they have it all apart?

Haven't had time to address my jacked up front steering wheel orientation yet, but had jury duty today and didn't get picked so I had some time. Installed my wheelers rear springs. 1.25 hrs from start to finish picking up. Bumped the rear up ~2" and got the rake back. Ride pretty similar to the oem springs, at least from what I can tell around the neighborhood. Super easy to install too.

Also threw on the shock skids I got from Bonomonster while I was back there.

Think I'm going to have to either get a bigger spacer for the drivers side front or bump the spring seat up to the 1st notch on the 5100. After about 500 miles the passenger spring has settled slightly, but there's still a 13-14/16" difference between the drivers and passenger sides.

Seth are you sure you didn't put that side up one notch or put the spring perch upside down?

Can do. I've certainly got to pay it forward especially after Rob saved my bacon with parts and his impact wrench.

I did the leafs on my taco, they weren't too bad. The coil springs on my fj though are soo easy.

Excuse my ignorance, not really a serious wrencher, but is there a right side up or down to the coil?

While I took a "sick" day or 2 after darts in my younger years, I've always dragged my ass to work almost every time even hung over regardless if it was a desk job or working in a bakery. I did get written up once 15 yrs ago for 3 sick days in a month and in fairness one was a hangover day.

I crawled into work last Monday after spending my previous night with SLAYER. Got home at midnight and went to bed. Not to speak of many nights I'm up till 2am and get up at 7am.

This underscores one big reason I'm very careful of what I say or post online. There are others but that's one.

Not defending the behaviour, but in my company we almost get hosed for not taking sick days. I earn 8 days a year but it is capped at 3 weeks. Pretty sure I can't donate time to a coworker in need either which does blow

Or maybe she went home with the band and had a bangover the next morning.

About the chic taking off hungover... Would you rather have her working like a piece of shit right next to you? I'd rather work harder without her there....

I reckon the chick working half strength is still better, plus maybe she will learn after suffering.
And re her, someone has to say it:

I'd rather she be responsible and go get banged up Friday and Saturday nights like normal adults, Thursday is acceptable from time to time.

Certainly the ideal, but if I must choose banged up or not at all I'd take banged up especially in a small company where every missing person is a substantial loss.

On a larger scale, as I said that is a big reason I watch what I say online. My company does have an online presence and I have coworkers on Facebook. I usually don't even mention shows I go to on work nights till the next day's work is done, because even if I really am ill the next day it would look suspicious..and if they're looking to trim the work force some day why give them an excuse?

On the rare occasion I've stayed home sick in my life that I wasn't near death I don't dare leave my house unless to go to the doctor or hospital and in that case I'll be sure to get a note just in case. Though I will admit one summer I banged in on a Friday and had a day long naked cannonball festival....
