I don't know, I just threw out the word rant cuz it was it full of wurdz and hurt my brain.
When you have been in a job as long as we have you gain a set of skills and you know your value.

And now coffee.

 

Alrighty now......That was interesting to say the least. Shocking in many regards.....

Had to cut a drop slot in a safe. 5/8" thick cold rolled steel case. 1-1/2" X 10" cut, big enough to handle a locking bank deposit bag. Simple task. I drilled the 4 corners. Then used cut off wheels on a 4-1/2" DeWalt angle grinder to cut the sides. Just as I was finishing the last cut, the grinder goes up in flames (literally) Blue fire and a LOT of smoke escaped. The office smells like an incinerator. Luckily, we were right next to a window and just tossed the smoking remains outside before it completely filled the office with smoke. Damn. I'm due to have a BORING day somewhere along the line.....

Headed to HOMEr DEsPOt to grab a new angle grinder.....

Just a normal day at the old job....I do a little bit of everything here.

 

OK! Wed managers meeting! Complete waste of time to talk about how not to waste time.... And people wonder why this country is going to hell.... Meetings....emails.....more meetings.....a text message.....another meeting.....more emails.....instead of doing actual WORK.

Now. Got that out of my system.

It'll NEVER be the same again....Run-away liberalism has made that a fact of life. The attitude that it's ALWAYS someone else's fault, and ALWAYS someone else's responsibility has reached so many levels of everyday life, we have no chance of ever being the country this once was.

 

Found a new doctor! Place I was given the referral to helped me out, and I have an appointment to see the new guy tomorrow afternoon. He's very highly rated by his patients, which makes me confident.

Reviews at work are over, and I got my token raise. Taxes are done, and the weather is (slowly) improving. It's been a damn good week so far.
