Hello all. Just upgraded my phone from and Iphone 5 to a new Iphone 6s. The 5 worked flawlessly with the truck but the 6 is having problems. I select my phone as an audio source, I go into browse and it shows every song stored on my phone but will only play about 5 of them. I can select any other song and it just goes back to 1 of 5 different songs. Its there a computer software update I'm not aware off? This issue is starting to tick me off.

After disconnecting from Bluetooth with my IPhone 5 and then reconnecting after a few minutes, after running in and out of a store or getting gas, the music skips like an old record player with a scratched record. I have to completely disconnect it and reconnect to get the music to play again.

I also tried my wife's new phone. Same problems. I've been reading that the Iphone 6 and Toyota have been having problems with each other since 2014. Not encouraging. :( All say the same thing, my Iphone 5 worked without a problem, my Iphone 6 doesn't work.

My 6 works fine. I'd suggest unpairing, shut down truck, rebooting phone, and re-pairing.

I think I found my problem. My songs were not properly loaded into my new phone. Syncing all my songs back into my phone and trying again. I hate messing with computers any more.

Like other said, try a hard reset first. Also what version of iOS are you running?

No, sorry not blaming my Taco. Personally, either the issue is user or software, but if I'm doing something wrong with my reconnection then I would hope someone would point out why I can't get it to reconnect properly.

Isn't this what this forum is all about?

No, every one knows forums are about bitching lol

Reconnect issues try a hard reset. Almost all Bluetooth issues can be fixed by either a hard reset on the phone or a software update on the phone or vehicle

With all do respect, I have tried that each time, but still have the issue. I can deal with it, knowing how I can quick fix, but it's just annoying to me and wondering if others are having the same issue. Haven't seen this issue posted in any other threads, maybe it's something in my settings or user error. Not an IPhone super user, but maybe someone else has had the same issue and has an easy fix.

As far as forum bitchin', ya, I hear ya and it gets a little bit too much listening to it. If you hate it that bad, then why purchase it? Buy something that makes you happy. Good luck!

Personally, love my Tacoma, and wouldn't buy something else. Considering it's almost a $50,000 investment (Canada)!
