I opted to put 2" blocks (for the time being) in the rear to level out, however, I seem to have hit a block.

The U Bolts don't seem to fit correctly over the leaf springs and block. The U bolts will go, but, it's such a tight fit that the ends of the U bolt become spread too far apart and won't line up with the holes on the lower bracket. I attempted to squeeze them together but it doesn't seems as though they will squeeze together enough without bending.

    Is this normal?

Are you using blocks specifically intended for a Tacoma, or are they the generic "one size fits all" sort? I have a set of 1" blocks on my work bench that were on my Tacoma for a while. They were part of a kit specific to Tacoma's. There was ample clearance between the block and the U-bolts where they didn't touch. I've also got a set laying around the shop somewhere that came off of a '79 Ford 3/4-ton I owned years ago. (3") they are HUGE compared to the width of the Tacoma blocks.

No. However you can probably grind a small amount of metal off the blocks so the bolts clear.

The box says they are for tacoma 2005-2015...the paperwork (instructions) inside says it's for 2005-2010. My Tacoma is a 2012.

    It's a "zone offroad" kit

I'm wondering if the wrong kit was placed in the box or the wrong sticker was placed in the outside of the box. Maybe they just have poor quality assurance on their specs?

I considered grinding some off but I figure I'll just return them and pick up another brand if it comes to that.
