LOL! I hope he either put the clause in, or likes the challenge because in my opinion, at this point, they're almost a safe bet they'll drop as Aston Villa is. Poor Brad Guzan... got benched for a while, like it was his fault Villa sucks, but if anything he's the one that kept them in a lot of games. Hopefully someone else will pick him up when they drop. He deserves better than to play in the Championship.

 

I would have rather had Guzan for keeper than Benteke for striker at this point. He's not really fitting in. I've got nothing against Benteke, it just seems like he was a more prolific goal scorer at Villa than LFC.

 

Could be because of the style of play of one team vs the other. The way I look at it is this... to be a professional player you have to be good at something, or else you wouldn't have made it that far. Some players just fit in better in some schemes/tactics than others. Using his as an example, meaning he's more of a box player and is stationary looking for someone to cross the ball into the box, not moving and coming to look for the ball, waiting for the ball to get to him etc, and maybe when he was at Villa they had a different approach to the game. I can't honestly say because I'm not a Villa nor a LFC fan so I don't really know how they play.

 

He's definitely a box player waiting for the ball. He's excellent at headers on goal. Liverpool don't really feed him the ball in there. He's definitely not skilled on the ball like Coutinho, Sturridge or Firmino. He loses a lot of possession and has missed some certain goals this year. Which is probably why Klopp has been going with Origi instead of him. Origi brings a hell of a lot more speed to the front than Benteke could ever hope for. But like you said, styles differ from team to team. Hell, look at Peter Crouch. All he does is wait for the ball and he's successful.

Yeah... fucking pissed. That miss by Cuadrado in the 1st half, that Neuer made the save on, was the turn around point. Had that gone in it was almost game over. Juve up 3-0 with 3 away goals... FUCK.

 

The goal from Morata was not offside neither, so 3-0 on halftime.... would had been another story too
